First Talks Announced
Good news, everyone! Our first two confirmed talks will be given by esteemed Django hackers Alex Gaynor and Andrew Godwin.
Alex will be outlining his vision for how Django's ORM could be extended to work with NoSQL backends in his talk, "Making Django and NoSQL Play Nice." Fresh off his successful implementation of multiple database support (landing in 1.2), Alex brings his ORM-fu to bear on the hot topic of nonrelational databases.
Andrew will bring us up to speed on changes to South—Django's most popular schema-migration app—in his "South, New and Old" talk. South recently saw its 0.7 release which includes support for the upcoming Django 1.2. The talk will include a quick overview of schema migrations in general.
We've got more fantastic talk announcments on the way. Book your tickets today and join us for a week of Django in Berlin!
